Police Uncover International Human Trafficking, Pimping Ring, Arrest Three Suspects
Jerusalem police have dismantled an international human trafficking and pimping ring, arresting three suspects who allegedly lured women from abroad for.
Jerusalem, 20 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following a report from Israel Police’s Operational Coordination Department, via a Police representative abroad, regarding an organized gang suspected of human trafficking and arranging departures from Israel for the purpose of prostitution, the police conducted a cross-continental investigation spanning several months.
Suspects allegedly contacted women in foreign countries and induced them to enter Israel to engage in prostitution, pimping them once they arrived.
The investigation, said the police, involved “extensive international and domestic cooperation,” including undercover agents deployed to expose the syndicate’s operations and surveillance of women brought to Israel under the suspects’ direction.
On Wednesday, police arrested three suspects: a Beer-Sheva resident and his partner, both in their 30s, and an Eilat resident in his 40s.
