Police Seize Illegal Weapons in Negev

Jerusalem, 12 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police seized illegal weapons in two operations in the Bedouin town of Tel Sheva and the nearby Al-Nabari area, authorities said Tuesday. Officers confiscated hunting rifles, four airsoft guns and dozens of metal pellets during a search and a Tel Sheva resident in his 50s was detained for questioning.

In a separate operation, police arrested a Beer-Sheva man in his 40s after finding a loaded Glock pistol in his vehicle.
