Jerusalem, 20 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said its forces entered the town of Ofra, located in the Binyamin (Benjamin) region north of Jerusalem, following a report received about the ramming of Israeli civilians with a car.

From an initial investigation, it appears that a confrontation developed between several Israeli civilians and Palestinians, during which one of the Palestinians was sprayed with pepper spray. Subsequently, the Palestinian fled the scene and struck an Israeli civilian with his vehicle.

The Israeli civilian was slightly injured.

The suspect turned himself in to security forces and will be transferred for further investigation.
