Investigation into the disappearance of Eldar Dayan – as part of the searches, a body in an advanced state of decomposition was located and transferred for identification, following the directive of the Commander of the Central District, Superintendent Amir Cohen.

The body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for the completion of the identification process and clarification of the circumstances of death. At this stage, the identification process has not yet been completed, and therefore the police do not have the ability to confirm the identity of the deceased. The investigation is ongoing.
