Further to the protest convoys moving towards the area of Prison 10, traffic jams are currently being recorded on Highways 1 and 6 and on additional routes, due to vehicle movement that does not comply with the pre-arranged agreements with the protest organizers. In some locations, protesters were observed getting out of their vehicles and moving on the travel lanes, endangering themselves and other road users. The Israel Police calls on the protest organizers and participants to act responsibly, adhere to the agreed-upon arrangements, and act in a manner that does not harm the freedom of movement of the public road users and does not endanger their safety. As of this moment, the roads are not blocked, however, the continued conduct that creates traffic disruptions and harms the public is not in line with the agreed-upon conditions. The Israel Police respects the right to protest and acts to enable its realization within the bounds of the law, but if harm to road users continues or illegal blockades of traffic routes are carried out, the police will act according to its authorities to maintain public order, public safety, and freedom of movement.
