Following a manhunt – suspect involved in tonight’s murder in Kafr Qasim was arrested. The police dispatch center received a report of a vehicle on fire in Kafr Qasim.

Sharon District Police officers arrived at the scene, secured the area, and found a woman’s body inside. Following an assessment of the situation and a review of initial findings, suspicion arose that the motive for the incident was a violent family dispute. Large forces from the Sharon District Police, Southern Border Police undercover operatives, and the Qassem station conducted an extensive manhunt. During this operation, a suspect involved in the murder, the victim’s ex-partner, in his 40s, was arrested early this morning in the Bedouin diaspora in the south. The suspect was transferred for investigation at the Sharon District Police, and depending on the investigation’s findings, he will be brought before the court to request an extension of his detention.
