Following a covert investigation by Northern District police officers, five suspects were arrested in connection with a murder that occurred in Maghar several months ago. In June, a report was received at Israel Police’s 100 hotline.

Following extensive investigative actions, five suspects from Araba, Wadi Salama, and Maghar were arrested yesterday and this morning for questioning. The suspects were brought for questioning at the Kinneret District Police offices in the Northern District, and at its conclusion, they will be brought before the court for a hearing on the police’s request to extend their detention. In accordance with the police’s request, a gag order was issued on the suspects’ identities at the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court.
