Five Suspects Arrested in Violent Brawl at Jerusalems Ora Junction
Jerusalem police arrested five eastern Jerusalem residents after a violent brawl at Ora Junction, with a warning shot fired to end the disturbance and two.
Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel Police arrested five suspects following a violent incident and brawl that broke out overnight on the road in the Ein Karem area of Jerusalem, at Ora Junction.
Officers from the Moriah Station in the Jerusalem District arrived at the scene and identified a fight among those involved. Given the immediate danger to those present, one officer called out to the suspects and fired a warning shot into the air to defuse the threat.
Following the gunfire, the violence ceased. Forces took control of the scene, separated the parties involved, and arrested five suspects, all residents of eastern Jerusalem. Two individuals in moderate condition were evacuated from the scene.
