During the past week, police officers from the Judea and Samaria District arrested 24 illegal residents. A resident of Kafr Aqab and two residents of Beersheba were arrested on suspicion of transporting them.

During the vehicle inspection, 16 infiltrators, residents of Tulkarm, were found. The minibus driver, a resident of Kafr Aqab in his 40s, was arrested along with the suspects, and the vehicle used to commit the offense was seized for administrative proceedings. In another operation by officers of the Modi’in Illit station on Highway 443, a resident of Be’er Sheva in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of transporting infiltrators. During her vehicle inspection, four infiltrators were found hidden in the vehicle, as she was allegedly on her way to bring them into the country illegally. The next day, in the morning hours, a resident of Be’er Sheva in her 30s was arrested, and during her vehicle inspection, four infiltrators were found hidden in it. In both these incidents, the vehicles used to commit the offenses were seized and the suspects were arrested.
