Drugs Found Concealed in Humanitarian Aid Entering Gaza

Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said World Central Kitchen workers found and reported illegal drugs concealed in humanitarian aid entering Gaza.
During food preparation, workers discovered six packs of hashish weighing a total of 600 grams, along with 162 grams of unidentified substances, hidden inside cans of peppers.
“Hamas stops at nothing, even embedding dangerous narcotics directly into the humanitarian aid entering Gaza,” COGAT said. “Such cynical tactics jeopardize vital aid operations for their own selfish gains.”
