Documentation – Northern District police officers arrested suspects and seized a pistol with a round in the chamber immediately after a shooting incident targeting a wedding hall. On 01/05/26, a shooting occurred targeting a wedding hall in Sakhnin.

Upon hearing sounds of gunfire from the location, officers immediately approached the hall and noticed a suspicious vehicle advancing towards them at a reckless speed. The vehicle, carrying the suspects, continued driving, overtook the patrol car and officers, and mounted a sidewalk at the location. An officer who exited the patrol car shouted for them to stop, but they did not respond to his calls and continued driving. The officers pursued the vehicle and identified one of the passengers holding a handgun. During the pursuit, the vehicle collided with a parked car and came to a stop. The forces arrested the two individuals at the scene and seized the handgun, which was loaded with a round in the chamber. The arrest of the two, residents of Sakhnin (aged 24 and 39), was extended periodically, and upon completion of the investigation, a serious indictment was filed against them.
