Documentation – Jerusalem District police officers thwarted a car theft and its smuggling into Judea and Samaria. Last night, Jerusalem View observers identified a suspicious vehicle, believed to be stolen, traveling at high speed.

Officers from the Lev HaBira station responded quickly and located the vehicle, but the suspect driver refused to obey their calls to stop and began a reckless escape, posing a real danger to road users and officers. During the pursuit, in order to thwart his escape and stop the danger, the officers performed targeted and accurate shooting at the vehicle’s tires with the aim of stopping it, which led to the suspect losing control and crashing. The suspect attempted to escape on foot until he was apprehended by the pursuing officers. The suspect, a resident of Judea and Samaria (20), was arrested and transferred for investigation.
