Two suspects were arrested for investigation. Detectives from the Rishon LeZion station in the Shfela region, along with station investigators, Shfela Special Patrol Unit fighters, and the Central District K9 unit, conducted a search yesterday morning in an apartment in Petah Tikva. This followed a covert investigation against suspects involved in several burglary incidents in central Israel. During the search, police officers uncovered a large amount of property suspected of being stolen, along with a handgun with two magazines and ammunition, which were hidden inside a household oven. In addition, various types of drugs were seized at the scene, along with cash suspected to be proceeds from criminal activity, numerous pieces of jewelry, and burglary tools that are suspected to have been used by the suspects in carrying out the burglaries over the past month. The suspects, a resident of Petah Tikva in his 30s and a resident of Rishon LeZion in his 50s, were arrested for investigation at the police station.
