Activists involved in managing an institution functioning as a central part of the financial mechanism of the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” terrorist organization were arrested in recent weeks.
Israel Police arrested activists managing a PFLP financial institution, declared a terrorist organization. Indictments filed.
The institution was declared a terrorist organization in Israel in 2021 by the Minister of Defense and as an illegal association in Judea and Samaria by the Commander of the Central Command, following its exposure as a significant part of the financial mechanism of the terrorist organization “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” whose operatives carried out the deadly attack at the “Ein Bubin” spring in 2019, in which the late teenager Rina Shnerb was murdered. Senior officials in the institution, some of them Popular Front operatives, were arrested after suspicion arose that the institution had resumed operations from its center in Ramallah, and continued to employ operatives, including from the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” terrorist organization. In recent days, indictments have been filed against some of those involved, and more are expected to be filed in the coming weeks.
