Yavne police arrested a suspect in his 40s for assaulting a senior official during a disruptive city council meeting, causing minor injuries.
Upon the officers’ arrival at the scene, the suspect was located. An inquiry revealed that he had allegedly arrived at the City Council meeting, disrupted its proper proceedings, and after being asked to cease his actions, assaulted a senior official from the Yavne Municipality who was present at the meeting at the time. As a result, the official sustained minor injuries. The suspect (Yavne, in his 40s) was taken for further investigation.
