Israeli IceCure Expands Cancer Treatment Technology in Netherlands
Israeli firm IceCure Medical partners with Scovas Medical for exclusive distribution of its ProSense cryoablation cancer treatment in the Netherlands.
Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medical device company IceCure Medical has signed an exclusive agreement with Netherlands-based Scovas Medical to distribute its ProSense cryoablation systems in the Netherlands.
ProSense uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy tumors as a Minimally Invasive alternative to surgery.
The agreement comes as the Netherlands-based THERMAC breast cancer trial moves to Phase III, focusing on cryoablation for some patients with early-stage breast cancer. IceCure said earlier trial results showed ProSense achieved a 94% complete ablation rate, with no reported complications and no need for general anesthesia.
Scovas will distribute the systems and provide clinical support to Dutch healthcare professionals. IceCure said the agreement will expand access to ProSense and support its European growth.
