Jerusalem, 23 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A one-and-a-half-year-old toddler who was not vaccinated against measles died of the disease after arriving at the hospital in critical condition.

This is the tenth death from measles since the beginning of the outbreak – most of them are healthy children with no underlying illnesses who were not vaccinated against measles. The ministry emphasizes the importance of arriving on time to receive medical treatment when symptoms appear or when infection with the disease is suspected.
