Jerusalem, 11 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Authority for the Rights of Holocaust Survivors in the Prime Minister’s Office has issued a call for the distribution of support funds for 2025. Public institutions that assist the population of victims of Nazi persecution and meet the support tests are invited to submit applications by June 29, 2025. The authority’s total support for 2025 is approximately 21 million Shekels ($6 million), of which approximately 3 million Shekels ($850,000) has already been approved in the housing accessibility channel.
The guiding principle for the distribution of support is to improve the quality of life, prevent deterioration in the health and mental state, and alleviate the loneliness of survivors in the community and at home. In the community – to have them be active and take part in group social activities, and at home – to improve the quality of life of housebound survivors.
