Following a covert investigation by the Northern District Police, seven suspects were arrested in connection with a double murder that occurred in the Golan Heights. On 26/06/19, in the afternoon hours, a report was received about shots fired at a vehicle.

As a result of the shooting, two men (56, 52) were critically injured and their deaths were pronounced a short time later. The Commander of the Northern District, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, assigned the investigation of the incident to the Northern District’s Central Unit (YAMAS). With the investigation becoming public, seven suspects were arrested for involvement in the murder. In addition, many findings were seized, including the vehicle that allegedly served the murder squad, which was hidden in Kiryat Shmona.
