Israeli Hospitals Instructed to Move Operations Underground
Following Home Front Command guidelines, Israeli hospitals are instructed to move operations underground and mobilize for emergency preparedness.
Jerusalem, 8 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following a discussion by the Supreme Hospitalization Authority and a situation assessment, and In accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, the Director General of the Ministry of Health instructed the hospitals to act according to established guidelines, to go underground and mobilize the necessary personnel for a rapid transition to an emergency, along with a parallel mobilization of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) to assist the hospitals.
The hospitals were also instructed to prepare for the release of patients.
