The fighters arrived in the area and began searches to locate the suspect vehicle, during which the forces identified the vehicle driving closely behind another vehicle and began to follow them. During the drive, the drivers began reckless driving, including life-threatening overtaking, swerving between lanes, and posing a real danger to road users. The forces continued to pursue one of the vehicles, which ran a red light, entered Highway 6 southbound, and later exited into an open area, where it dropped off several suspects and fled the scene. Immediately thereafter, extensive searches were conducted in the area with the involvement of additional forces, during which all suspects were located and arrested. A total of approximately 25 illegal residents were arrested and transferred for further treatment, during which it was revealed that two of the suspects were wanted for investigation by the Shin Bet.
