Tel Aviv Strategic Transportation Hub Under Way

Oron Holdings will build the HaTaysim Integrated Transportation Center in Tel Aviv, a 250 million Shekel project set to open by late 2028.

Jerusalem, 6 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Cross-Israel Company announced that the Oron Holdings and Investments Group has won the tender to establish the HaTaysim Integrated Transportation Center (ITC), which will serve as a strategic transportation hub in the heart of the Gush Dan (greater >>”>Tel Aviv) metropolitan area. The scope of investment in the project is estimated at more than 250 million Shekels ($85 million).

The Pilots’ Complex, which is being implemented through the Cross-Israel Company, will be built near the intersection of future Highways 40 and 46, and will constitute an advanced transportation hub that combines public transportation, private vehicles, and pedestrians. According to the plan, the Pilots’ Complex is expected to open to the public at the end of 2028.

The project will build an advanced public transportation terminal that includes approximately 180 electric bus stops, alongside a large-scale “park and ride” parking lot with approximately 1,200 parking spaces. The center will be directly connected to the end station of the purple line of the light rail, and will include the construction of dedicated bridges for vehicles, buses and pedestrians, in order to ensure efficient traffic flow, maximum safety and full accessibility for all users.
