Jerusalem, 3 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli government approved an additional NIS 600 million ($209 million) for transportation projects in the north aimed at restoring infrastructure damaged during the war.
Led by the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety, the initiative will fund repairs to roads, sidewalks, safety barriers and signage, while upgrading public transportation and improving access routes to northern communities.
