Two Explosive Devices Found in Arab Town and Neutralized
Police neutralized two powerful explosive devices in Tamra, Israel, arresting a 30-year-old resident in a counter-terrorism operation.
Jerusalem, 5 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Two powerful explosive devices were neutralized in the northern Arab town of Tamra.
The Israel Police said that the devices were found last night, Saturday, in a counter-terrorism operation, and that they were connected to an operating system and ready for use.
A 30-year-old resident of Tamra was arrested on suspicion of holding the explosives.
The police did not say if the devices were terror related or for use by criminal gangs.
