Investigation Opened Into Wednesday’s Terror Knife Attack
Israel Police are investigating a terror knife attack attempt near Revava, Samaria, where an armed civilian neutralized the attacker.
Jerusalem, 15 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police have opened an investigation into a terror attack attempt following a report received today shortly after 11 AM today, Wednesday, regarding a stabbing attempt at the Doron Valley Farm near the town of Revava in Samaria, located due east of Herzliya.
From initial details, it appears that a terrorist (29, resident of the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan located near Revava) arrived at the farm armed with a knife, approached the people at the site, drew the knife and attempted to stab with it. An armed civilian who was present at the site drew his licensed weapon, fired toward the terrorist, thereby neutralizing him and stopping the threat.
Detectives arrived at the scene and began collecting evidence and testimonies, and the knife which, according to suspicion, was used by the terrorist in the stabbing attempt was seized.
The Samaria Division Commander held a situation assessment at the scene with the participation of the division’s command staff, and at its conclusion instructed the Judea and Samaria District Commander that the investigation of the incident would be assigned to the Minorities Division in the Central Unit of the Judea and Samaria District.
