Jerusalem, 6 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel Police arrested two illegal residents from Hebron, one of whom is suspected of planning a terror attack.
Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, based on intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), detectives operated in Tel Mond (located east of Netanya) to arrest people who, said the police, were suspected of intending to carry out a terror attack.
During the arrests, one of the suspects was identified as he fled, and the forces initiated a foot chase after him
The suspect was arrested within a short time, and an additional suspect was located nearby after attempting to escape by jumping from the roof of a building, getting injured, and being arrested. He received medical treatment on-site.
