> 🇮🇱🇦🇷”>Jerusalem, 28 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — TytoCare, an Israel-based virtual care company, has received a first-of-its-kind FDA authorization for its AI-powered Tyto Insights ENT Suite, which analyzes ear images to help detect signs of infection. The approval also establishes a new FDA Category for software that uses artificial intelligence to assess ear, nose and throat conditions.

The system examines otoscopic video to identify eardrum bulging, a key indicator of acute otitis media and related conditions, and is designed for patients aged six months and older. The company said the tool was trained on a database of 1.6 million ear images and recordings, strengthening its diagnostic accuracy for remote care settings.
