Jerusalem, 27 April, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Ignite DeepTech has launched the spring cohort of its early-stage acceleration program for startups in deep technology fields, in collaboration with Intel and other strategic partners. Ten startups have been selected for the three-month program, each focused on transforming industries such as cybersecurity, AI, biotechnology, drones, and more.
These companies were chosen from 258 applicants by a panel of 145 evaluators, half of whom came from venture capital firms, with the rest from tech corporations and the Israeli tech ecosystem. The startups have already raised an average seed funding of $7.2 million.
Ignite DeepTech builds on the success of Intel’s previous accelerator, Intel Ignite, which ran in Israel, Europe, and the U.S. for five years. The earlier program helped over 200 startups raise billions and led to several high-profile acquisitions. Ignite DeepTech now offers a more tailored approach, with specialized support for product-market fit, fundraising preparation, founder well-being, and business development.
“The new Ignite model presents opportunities – expanding our impact by connecting with multinational companies in Israel and diversifying local tech bets,” said Alon Leibovich, Managing Director of Ignite DeepTech. He emphasized the expected explosive growth in the deep tech sector, focusing on real-world challenges in robotics, energy, and beyond.
The selected startups for the spring cohort include a variety of groundbreaking companies.
DataFlint offers a solution for optimizing big data performance, while Impala.ai provides hyper-scaled distributed computing for AI. Twine Security creates AI-driven digital employees to handle cybersecurity tasks. DYM sense is developing alcohol detection technology to prevent drunk driving, and MNDL Bio uses AI to optimize gene expression in biotechnology. Other startups include Huskeys, focused on web app security, and Particle Lab, aiming to lead the global particle accelerator market.
Tzahi Weisfeld, VP at Intel Global and Chairman of Ignite DeepTech, described the initiative as more than just another program: “It is a national infrastructure for deep innovation.” He believes the program represents an unprecedented opportunity for Israeli deep tech entrepreneurs to engage with multinational companies and create real value. The goal is to not just play the game, but redefine it.
The 12-week acceleration program includes personalized mentorship from industry experts and covers key business areas such as go-to-market strategy, sales, product management, and recruitment. The startups will also have access to Intel’s global network of executives and experts.
In addition, Intel Ignite has announced the launch of a new program in London and the establishment of its first Customer Advisory Board. This board will consist of CTOs, CIOs, and Chief Data Officers from leading companies, helping connect startups with high-level executives for feedback and collaboration.
