Three Arrested in Anti-Terror Raids in Jerusalem Region
Three individuals were arrested in anti-terror raids near Jerusalem and in Jericho, where police seized weapons and materials suspected of being used to.
Jerusalem, 25 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — This morning, Wednesday, police operated at several locations in the village of Al-Eizariya near Jerusalem and in the city of Jericho, where they confiscated weapons and arrested three suspects.
A search of a house in Al-Eizariya, a Jericho-type pistol and ammunition were found and seized and a suspect, a 31-year-old local resident, was arrested.
In a search of another house in the village, the forces located gas cylinders that had been disposed of in a closet in the bedroom. According to the suspicion, the gas cylinders were used by another suspect, in his 20s, to manufacture explosives.
In addition, at one of the hotspots, a vehicle was seized in the possession of an Abu Dis (located near Jerusalem) resident in his 30s, suspected of trafficking in weapons, who was arrested.
