Israeli Security Forces Arrest Suspect in Lod Mosque Over Imminent Terror Plot

Jerusalem, 16 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Security officers arrested a 22-year-old suspect from eastern Jerusalem inside a mosque in Lod who was allegedly planning an terror imminent attack, authorities said. The arrest took place last week following intelligence provided by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the Israel Police. The suspect was found inside the mosque and detained without incident.
