Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Special rescue flights will be operated, in cooperation with Emirati airlines, to repatriate Israeli citizens who have been stranded in the UAE due to the war with Iran from the Emirates to Israel and other countries. This has been dubbed “Operation Gulf Lionesses.”

Following the joint effort of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to repatriate Israelis from abroad and in light of the complex security situation in the region; it was agreed to activate a dedicated plan for the repatriation of Israeli citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates.
