Jerusalem, 5 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The government approved a plan to accelerate the construction of hotels in Judea and Samaria with a budget of tune of 27 million Shekels ($9 million). as part of the decision, barriers in the field of hotel planning will be removed and grants will be given to encourage the construction.
Currently, the lack of available planning stock for hotels constitutes one of the main barriers to the development of the tourism industry in Judea and Samaria. As part of the decision, the Ministry of Tourism will promote statutory planning for the establishment of hotel accommodation facilities, alongside carrying out actions that will enable the exercise of rights or the marketing of plots, based on a mapping to be carried out by the Ministry.
