Jerusalem, 11 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Ministry Issued a declaration on social media explaining, in part, why Israel needed to act now against Iran; even though, just before the initial attack on Iran by the Israeli military on the morning of February 28th came as The US was conducting negotiations with Iran about that country’s nuclear program, among other things.

“For years, the Iranian regime played a double game,” it said. “Fake negotiations above ground while building missiles and nuclear facilities deep underground.”

The Ministry explained that Iran’s goal has always been to “buy time to get immunity from neutralization.”

“The deception is over,” it declared.
