Israel Responds to Flotillas with Media Flotilla of Its Own
Israel launches the "L'Marmer (confound) the Marmara 2026" publicity flotilla with influencers to counter anti-Israel efforts.
Jerusalem, 17 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Today, May 17, at 2 PM > 🇮🇱🇦🇷”>Israel time, the Blue-and-White publicity flotilla “L’Marmer (confound) the Marmara 2026” will set off. Dozens of leading Israeli social media influencers will take part on board the flotilla, representing a cumulative influence of over 10 million followers on various digital platforms.
This civilian publicity flotilla, the first of its kind and named in response to the anti-Israel Marmara flotilla, is designed to convey a “sharp, firm and clear message to all those who seek to harm us and who seek to violate the sovereignty of the State of Israel,” say its operators, adding that it is a “decisive civilian response to the Turkish flotilla making its way to the region, and is intended to make it clear that all Israeli citizens are being recruited into the publicity and national campaign.”
