Jerusalem, 24 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with a visiting delegation of U.N. ambassadors from Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific in Jeruslem on Tuesday. Speaking to the group, Herzog called for “moral clarity” at the U.N., criticizing what he described as the international system’s failure to confront terror without compromise.
Herzog highlighted progress under President Trump’s Gaza plan, including hostage returns, the establishment of the Board of Peace, and operational mechanisms aimed at Hamas disarmament. First Lady Michal Herzog condemned the denial of sexual violence as a weapon of war, citing its use against Israeli, Druze, Kurdish, and Iranian women, calling for global recognition and action.
