Israel MOD Deputy Director General Participated at the FIDF Societies Summit in Washington, D.C.

Deputy Director General and Head of the Planning Department at the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Itamar Graff, participated at the Friends of the IDF (FIDF) Societies Summit in Washington, D.C., this week.
During his address, Graff shared insights on the critical work being done for the defense establishment, wounded veterans, reserve troops, and bereaved families during these challenging times. He highlighted key initiatives that have made a tangible difference in thousands of lives, including: the “Amit” mental health resilience program for reservists; comprehensive rehabilitation services for wounded soldiers, including the establishment of the IDF Resilience Center and clinical mental health clinics in Beit HaLochem centers across Israel in partnership with FIDF and Sheba Medical Center; and the organization’s significant support for bereaved families, widows, and orphans.
The partnership between the IMOD and FIDF is invaluable, enabling the Ministry to care for those who defend Israel before, during, and after their service. This collaboration contributes not only to the defense establishment but also to the resilience of Israeli society. The IMOD expresses its profound gratitude to the FIDF and the American Jewish community for their steadfast commitment to Israel.
