More Than 450 Tons of Explosives Used to Destroy 2 KM of Hezbollah Terror Tunnels
The IDF destroyed two Hezbollah terror tunnels, approximately 2 km long, in southern Lebanon using over 450 tons of explosives.
Jerusalem, 28 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Using More Than 450 tons of explosives, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) destroyed two Hezbollah terror underground tunnels with a total length of about 2 kilometers in the Qantara area in southern Lebanon.
More than 30 rooms for living and organizing terrorism were located in the tunnels, along with 30 operational shafts.
One of the tunnels was recently used by terrorists from Hezbollah’s Radwan Force to promote terrorist plots against the State of Israel and its citizens, thereby posing a direct threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces.
