An Israeli military officer sustained serious injuries and another soldier was lightly wounded by an explosive device during IDF operations in the Jenin area.
Jerusalem, 11 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that earlier today, during what it described as an “operational activity” of its soldiers in the Jenin area, the detonation of an explosive device occurred.
As a result of the detonation, an IDF officer was seriously wounded and one IDF soldier was lightly wounded.
The officer and the soldier were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital, and their families were notified.
