Lebanon-Launched Projectiles Trigger Sirens in Northern Israel
Sirens sounded in northern Israel after projectiles were launched from Lebanon, with the IDF intercepting some and one falling near soldiers.
Jerusalem, 8 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several Areas in northern Israel, the Israel Defese Forces identified three projectiles launched from Lebanon toward Israeli soldiers operating in southern Lebanon.
Some were intercepted prior to crossing into Israeli territory, and an additional projectile fell near the soldiers. No injuries were reported.
