Jerusalem, 14 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed that, at the end of last weekend, it eliminated Ali Musa Daqduq south of the Litani River in Lebanon. Daqduq was a senior commander in the Hezbollah terrorist organization and former commander of its “Golan File” unit.
Daqduq filled a series of roles in the organization and served as a central hub of knowledge with extensive operational experience, said the IDF. Over the past few years, he acted to carry out terror plots and to fight against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
Among his various roles:
– Commander of the security team for the leader of the terrorist organization Hezbollah who was eliminated, Hassan Nasrallah
– Commander in the “Radwan Force” unit
– Commander in the operations department of the “Nasser” unit
– Responsible for the infantry unit in Hezbollah
– Commander of the “Golan file”—an operational branch responsible for the organization’s entrenchment in Syria and the construction of military infrastructure near the border of the State of Israel. The unit was exposed by the IDF in 2019.
Daqduq led, over the past few years, most of the combat protocols against Israeli Forces.
In 2007, he was imprisoned by the Americans after leading the kidnapping and execution of five American soldiers.
“This is a significant elimination of another senior Hezbollah commander and the closing of an important circle against one of the most central executors of terror actions against the civilians of the State of Israel, IDF forces, and even American soldiers,” said the IDF.
