Israeli Forces Eliminate Gaza Terrorists Who Violated Ceasefire Line
Israeli forces eliminated two terrorists in northern Gaza who crossed the "Yellow Line" ceasefire boundary, posing an immediate threat to IDF troops.
Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, earlier today, Thursday, its forces operating in northern Gaza Strip identified two terrorists who crossed the “Yellow Line” and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat.
Immediately following the identification, the Israel Air Force, guided by the forces on the ground, struck and eliminated the terrorists in order to remove the threat.
The IDF said its “forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.”
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
