Israel Continues Tunnel Clearance In Gazas Beit Hanoun, Says 14 Km Destroyed
The Israel Defense Forces have destroyed 14 kilometers of Hamas tunnels in Gaza's Beit Hanoun, eliminating 70 terrorists.
Jerusalem, 27 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces soldiers and combat engineers focusing on Hamas underground infrastructure in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza have demolished around 14 kilometers of tunnels in recent months.
In addition, about 70 terrorists who posed immediate threats to the troops have been eliminated.
Forces remain deployed under the ceasefire framework and are continuing their tunnel-clearing operations.
