Hezbollah Fires on Northern Israel, One Rocket Intercepted
Hezbollah fired rockets at northern Israel's Menara area, with the Israel Air Force intercepting one. Other launches landed in open areas.
Jerusalem, 3 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the alerts activated Sunday evening in the Menara area in the upper Galilee, several launches fired by the terrorist organization Hezbollah were identified toward the area where IDF (Israel Defense Forces) units are operating in southern Lebanon. The Israel Air Force intercepted one launch; the others fell in open areas, with no casualties.
The alerts were activated in accordance with policy following the launch of the interceptors.
In addition, a short time ago, interceptors were launched toward several suspected aerial targets identified in the area where IDF forces are operating in Southern Lebanon.
The results of the interceptions are under review.
