Hezbollah Again Violates Ceasefire, Launches Drones at Israeli Forces
The IDF reports Hezbollah launched explosive drones near its forces operating in southern Lebanon, marking further ceasefire violations.
Jerusalem, 28 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, a short while ago, interceptors were launched toward a suspected aerial target identified in the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon; the interception results are under review.
The target did not cross into Israeli territory and, per policy, no alerts were activated.
Additionally, the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched a short while ago several explosive drones that detonated near IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon, south of the forward defense line. There were no injuries to Israeli forces.
The IDF called these attacks “further violations of the ceasefire understandings by the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”
