Jerusalem, 16 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the data on the “Producer Price Index” for May 2026.

The Producer Price Index (PPI) program measures the average change over time in the selling prices received by domestic producers for their output.

The industrial output Price Index for domestic destinations decreased by 1.5% in May 2026 compared to April 2026.

The index excluding fuels decreased by 0.5% in May 2026 compared to April 2026.

In the last 12 months (May 2026 compared to May 2025), the industrial output Price index for domestic destinations increased by 1.2%, and the index excluding fuels decreased by 1.2%.

This month, fuel prices fell by 8.0%. In the last 12 months (May 2026 compared to May 2025), fuel prices increased by 26.0%.

The Mining and Quarrying Price Index for Domestic Destinations decreased by 2.4% in May 2026 compared to April 2026. In the last 12 months (May 2026 compared to May 2025), the index decreased by 8.8%.

Export price index in industry, mining and quarrying, price indices for the service industries in the first quarter of 2026.

The export price index in manufacturing, mining and quarrying decreased by 2.4% in the first quarter of 2026 (base: average 2021 = 100.0 points).

In the first quarter of 2026, prices for cleaning services increased by 6.1%, advertising services by 4.9%, employment services by 2.2%, accounting services by 1.6%, and legal services by 1.0%. In contrast, prices for management consulting services decreased by 0.3% and computer programming, computer consulting, and related services by 1.2%.
