Jerusalem, 17 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel-based Quantum Machines said Wednesday it acquired Hungarian PCB Engineering in its second European deal in six weeks, opening a Budapest R&D hub.

The company, whose control systems are used by more than half of Quantum computing firms, operates across 22 countries, including Israel, the US, Europe and Asia.

Quantum Machines said it raised $170 million in Series C funding in 2025, bringing total investment to $280 million as quantum computing nears a commercial turning point.

CEO Itamar Sivan said quantum computing is nearing a turning point, while PCB Engineering will strengthen QM’s hardware engineering capabilities in Europe.

In May, Quantum Machines acquired the Dutch quantum software company, QHarbor.
