Jerusalem, 1 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the value of total agricultural output in Israel in 2025 was approximately 38.9 billion Shekels ($13 billion), an increase of 2.5% compared to 2024.
2025 vs. 2024
Agricultural output prices increased by 1.1%, livestock and their products prices increased by 2.4%, and crop prices remained almost unchanged.
A 17.3% decrease was recorded in total field crop output. The decrease was mainly due to low precipitation (90.0% in wheat).
The value of agricultural input (including wear and tear) was approximately 22.3 billion Shekels ($7.8 billion), a decrease of 3.7%. Agricultural input prices decreased by 0.7%.
The value of agricultural exports in 2025 was 5 billion Shekels ($1.65 billion), an increase of 4.3% compared to 2024.
Property tax compensation (mainly due to the damages from the Iron Sword War) for the agricultural sector in 2025 was approximately 923.5 million Shekels ($309 million), compared to 912.8 million Shekels ($305 million) in 2024.
