Israeli Military Accuses Hezbollah of Violating Ceasefire Agreement
The IDF stated Hezbollah "blatantly violated the ceasefire" by launching explosive drones near its forces in southern Lebanon.
Jerusalem, 24 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF accused the terrorist organization Hezbollah of “once again blatantly violated the ceasefire agreement” in that it launched explosive drones at its forces operating south of the “front defense line,” in the Qantara area in Southern Lebanon.
The drones exploded near the forces and there were no casualties.
The front defense line is the forward line established by the IDF In Lebanon Ahead of the Ceasefire in order to push Hezbollah terrorists far back enough from northern Israel to deter continued rocket attacks.
The IDF said it forces will “continue to operate to eliminate threats to the citizens of the State of Israel in the front defense line area.”
