Jerusalem, 1 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A short while ago, the vanguard force of the Israeli aid delegation, landed in Venezuela, with the aim of assisting local authorities in recovery efforts after the deadly earthquakes there.
Immediately upon landing, delegation members began a series of working meetings with local authorities, emergency bodies, and additional partners, in order to formulate a situation assessment, map the needs on the ground, plan joint activity, and complete preparations for the commencement of operational activity.
In the coming days, the remaining delegation members will join the force. Upon completion of preparations, expert teams will begin operating alongside local authorities and assisting in recovery efforts, sharing the knowledge and experience accumulated by the State of Israel in dealing with earthquakes, emergency situations, and aid delegations around the world.
