Jerusalem, 25 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety is publishing today (Thursday) the “Partners on the Road” call for proposals for 2026, which invites local authorities and regional clusters to submit applications for the ministry’s participation in financing transportation projects across the country.
As part of the call, the ministry will assist in promoting projects that will strengthen road Safety, improve accessibility to public transportation, promote connectivity between localities, and contribute to the quality of life of residents.
The program is designed to help local authorities promote quality transportation solutions through two main support tracks: a development basket, intended for projects on major traffic routes and connections between the urban network and intercity roads, and a safety basket, which includes addressing risk areas, improving safety infrastructure, and regulating traffic areas around educational institutions and vulnerable populations.
